My favorite breakfast burrito in LA. There is lots of great food in this neighborhood but Maya's is hands down my favorite. Highly recommended! Tell Deli (the owner) Troy sent you. :)

Absolutely love this place! Come here almost every day for lunch due to its close proximity to my job. The food is always delicious, made fresh when you order. They pay attention to detail when asking for specific things (plain, extra, etc..) and have yet to mess up any of my orders. Parking is a bit tough (recommend parking on 19th), but service is pretty fast considering they make things to order so you can be in and out quick if you don't plan on eating there. They do have covered outdoor seating if you want to eat there. In my opinion this place is WAY better than a lot of Mexican restaurants I've tried. Usually no wait in line unless it's around 3:00pm when school gets let out.

I love the fries and the breakfast burritos every time I go. Service is always friendly and I love this place.

This is amazing food at really affordable prices! I've been trying to avoid eating out as much because of inflation, but a trip to Maya's always fits my budget. I really love their food. Their salsas are so spicy and flavorful! Their burrito was huge. But wow the fish tacos here are really good and huge I got full on one! The regular tacos are a little bit on the smaller side, but only $2. The service is always fast and great! Such a cool little spot right across from Carnitas Michoacán. They always get so much hype, but I think this place needs more attention!!

I love smallish, roadside Mexican joints even more than I enjoy a good roadside taco truck because the restaurants are rarely machines and are most often staffed by an owner whose life revolves around the service of good food. Mayas serves up authentic tasty, very filling and perfectly cooked awesome Mexican. I had the carnitas burrito and it literally was the best one I had in my life. Crunchy, soft, and gigantic, yet easily eaten. Each ingredient in the burrito itself burst with flavor - fresh and tasty. Bello got a gigantic Breakfast Burrito and loved it - for a couple of days. It was so big she could not finish it. Nor could I! Obviously-all food made with love.

Love this little spot. Right across the street from the famous Carnitas Michoacan, this place gets overlooked. I honestly like the meat there more and everything tastes so much cleaner and it's definitely not as greasy and oily as Michoacan. I've had thier sopes, pupusas, and burritos here before. But today, I came for their Wednesday special hurache. It was delicious! Loaded with carne asada and fresh lettuce cheese and avocado! Ohhh did I mention this steal was only $5! Yessss and it was huge! Definitely stop by if your in the area and check it out. Food is good, service is good, definitely give it a shot. The prices here are a steal. I'll definitely be trying other things from their menu next time. But everytime I came her everyday was on point. Parking: tiny little lot and street parking

We were on our way to the Dodgers game and stopped by to grab a quick bite to eat. We called in our simple order 15 minutes ahead of time and when we got there the cook hadn't even started on our order. We ordered a bean & cheese burrito and one carnitas taco and they failed to get this order ready despite only two people were there ahead of us who were already seated and eating. The food was good despite the waiting game.

Yep, solid 4 stars. For years I've been going to Carnitas Michoacan across the street, mostly b/c their green salsa is amazing, but I'd always wondered if Maya's was any good. I finally decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. Well, now I'm sorry I waited so long; the tacos are delicious (especially the carnitas and asada versions), the salsas are just fine, and the ladies who run the place are really friendly and nice. It's always telling when city workers, etc, patronize an establishment, those folks know how/where to eat. The green salsa across the street still rules but this place is good, too! Highly recommended if you're local; I'm in HLP and it's worth the short drive for me as well.
